The Art of a Transitional Blazer

There’s something about a blazer that just pulls you together. The right one adds shape, polish, and presence, even when it’s just layered over your favourite T-shirt.

This season, we’re revisiting two of our most versatile tailoring staples. Both are designed to carry you through that tricky early-autumn window where you don’t know what season it is anymore.

Let’s break them down.

The Prince of Wales Check Blazer

Sharp, classic, and endlessly wearable. This navy Prince of Wales check blazer is what we reach for when the calendar’s full and the weather won’t make up its mind. It has a gentle structure, tailored without being rigid, and works beautifully with cords, jeans, wide-leg trousers or dresses.

We love it styled over a white tee and trainers, or paired with a dress and boots when you want to feel a little more powerful.

The Glen Check Blazer

Softer in both colour and shape, this is the understated option. Ideal if you’re easing into autumn slowly and want something you can throw on with minimal thought.

The warm brown and navy check feel calm but intentional, and they play well with both strong autumnal hues and soft neutrals.

Wear it with our navy cords (launching soon) for a softer look, or layer over a black knit for contrast. There’s no wrong way to wear this one.

Why We Love Them Both

These are the pieces that you’ll keep coming back to. When the mornings feel cool and the afternoons heat up. When you’re heading to a meeting or out for a long lunch. When you don’t know what to wear, but want to feel a little more you.

Because sometimes, putting on a blazer isn’t about dressing up, it’s about feeling ready.
